Every year the Big Draw Campaign has a theme to inspire those getting involved. It was Living Lines  this year, a theme which triggered all sorts of possibilities in our minds as we prepared to run some three events over the half-term  at the Hornbeam Learning Lodge in Chingford on webs and spirals in nature, trails, tracks and prints and nature’s lines and contours.

Families could join in a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities, exploring the small, intimate yet wild nature reserve of Pimp Hall. They could stop, stare, be curious, touch, feel and enjoy the shapes, patterns and living lines of nature, capturing their experiences in a range of drawing and craft activities, some structured, others more free-flowing.
